Please join us on Saturday, May 16 for an afternoon of music for piano trio (violin-cello-piano), a favorite genre for many of us. We’ll hear two great piano trios by Beethoven and Felix Mendelssohn, along with a shorter work by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt that was inspired by a Mozart keyboard sonata.
The Tristan Trio was formed in 2025 by three professional musicians living and working in the Boston area. This summer, the trio will join the faculty of the 2026 Montecito International Music Festival in Thousand Oaks, California.
The performance begins at 3 pm, with a pre-concert discussion at 2:15 pm. The suggested contribution is $50, collected in advance or at the door. We accept cash, checks, and online payments.
