I’m traveling to Oslo, Norway to attend a concert by the Russian pianist Grigory Sokolov at the Oslo Opera House. I also plan to do some shopping, take a boat ride around the inner harbor, and enjoy walking around the old city.

About the Artist
Each Sokolov concert is unique in its own way. His technique is utterly peerless, but he rarely adheres to a template for piano virtuosos. He is known for his ability to draw an unusually broad spectrum of colours and sounds from the keys. Sokolov’s interpretations are usually deeply personal.
