About the Ensemble

CreArtBox is a New York City-based performing arts organization renowned for its innovative fusion of classical and contemporary music with multidisciplinary interaction. Founded in 2013 by pianist Josefina Urraca and flutist Guillermo Laporta, CreArtBox supports professional artists, inspires future generations, and makes world-class performances accessible to all. Celebrated by The New Yorker, Time Out, and Broadway World, CreArtBox operates in New York City and Asturias, Spain.
The hallmark of CreArtBox is the “visual concert,” which enhances live classical and contemporary music with visual art and theatrical design for an immersive audience experience. Performing globally, including in Japan, Spain, the UK, and the US, CreArtBox collaborates with top-tier musicians and artists. Supported by grants from institutions like the New York State Council on the Arts, the Amphion Foundation, and Spain Arts and Culture, CreArtBox continues to grow and thrive, driven by its nonprofit mission and generous supporters.
About the Concert
The performance begins at 2:00 pm. Join us an hour earlier for a pre-concert discussion about the music on the program. After the performance, you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artist(s) and learn about their backgrounds, interests, and career plans.
The address of the venue is 103 North Road, Wakefield, Rhode Island 02879. Driving time from Providence, Newport, Westerly, and southeastern Connecticut is under an hour, and Amtrak’s Kingston Station is only five miles away.
The suggested contribution for this concert is $50 per person, collected at the door. We accept cash, personal checks, and cards. Checks should be payable to “Core Memory Music”. All contributions go directly to our performing artists. To make your contribution in advance, click here.
