Join us on Saturday, June 19 at 3:00 pm to hear pianist Anran Qian in concert. Ms. Qian is a doctoral candidate at the Boston University School of Music.

About the Concert

Our concerts take place in a private home located near the village of Peace Dale. The street address is 103 North Road, Wakefield, Rhode Island 02879.

Map and Directions

This performance begins at 3:00 pm. If your schedule permits, plan to arrive one hour before the performance to attend a discussion about the music on the program. After the performance, you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their background, interests, and activities.


Reservations

Advance reservations are required. If you’d like to attend this concert, send an email to craig@corememorymusic.com and tell us who’s coming. If seating is available, we’ll confirm your reservation. If not, we’ll add you to the waiting list. If you have a confirmed reservation and you later decide not to attend, please let us know so others can take your place.

The suggested contribution is $40 per person. If your resources are limited, please contribute whatever you can afford. Contributions are collected at the door. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.

IMPORTANT: As a precaution during this stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’d like everyone attending this concert to be fully vaccinated and symptom-free. Masks are optional but recommended, especially for seniors.

About the Artist

Chinese pianist Anran Qian was born into a musical family and began playing piano at a young age. Her professional training began at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music and continued at The Juilliard School, where she earned undergraduate and masters degrees under the guidance of Jerome Lowenthal and Joseph Kalichstein.

An adventurous musician who loves performing on stage, Aran also enjoys improvising, teaching, composing, and collaborating with artists in other disciplines. Her mission in life is to connect with people through music.

Anran is currently completing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Boston University under the guidance of Tanya Gabrielian.
