Join us on Saturday, December 3 at 2:00 pm to hear American pianist Evren Ozel perform a solo recital. This will be his third appearance at these concerts.

About the Artist

American pianist Evren Ozel began his musical studies at age 3 in his hometown of Minneapolis. He has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, RTE National Symphony, and the Boston Pops. An avid chamber musician, he was selected by Mitsuko Uchida to participate in the Marlboro Music Festival.

Evren has won numerous honors and awards, including scholarships from the U.S Chopin Foundation and Young Arts Foundation, first prize in the 2021 Concert Artists Guild competition, and second prize as well as Mozart and Chopin special prizes at the 2018 Dublin International Piano Competition.

Since 2014, Evren has been studying with Wha Kyung Byun at the New England Conservatory in Boston. He completed his undergraduate work there in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Masters degree.

About the Concert

Our concerts take place at a private home in southern Rhode Island, near the village of Wakefield. The address is 103 North Road, South Kingstown RI 02879. Driving time from Providence, Newport, Westerly, or southeastern Connecticut is under an hour.

This performance begins at 2:00 pm. One hour before the performance, join us for a discussion about the music on the program. After the performance, you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artists and learn about their backgrounds, interests, and career plans.

If you’d like to attend this concert, send an email to craig@corememorymusic.com with the full name of each guest in your party. If seating is available, we’ll confirm your reservation. If you have a confirmed reservation and a member of your party decides not to attend, please let us know so another guest can take their place.

The suggested contribution is $40 per person. If your resources are limited, please contribute whatever you can afford. Contributions are collected at the door. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.
