Join us on Saturday, October 3 at 3:00 pm for the second concert of our 2020-2021 season. Virtuoso pianist Ivan Gusev will perform a program of works for solo piano by Scarlatti, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, and Mussorgsky.

About the Concert
Our concerts take place at a private residence in southern Rhode Island. The street address is 103 North Road, Wakefield, RI 02879.
This performance begins at 3:00 pm. Guests should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time. After the concert, you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artists and learn about their backgrounds, interests, and career plans.
Advance reservations are required. If you’d like to attend this concert, send us an email and tell us the number of seats you want. If seating is available, we’ll confirm your reservation. If not, we’ll add you to the waiting list. If we confirm your reservation and you decide not to attend, please let us know so others can take your place.
The suggested contribution for this concert is $40 per person. We also offer a three-concert pass for a contribution of $100. Contributions are collected at the door. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.
About the Artist
Pianist Ivan Gusev has performed extensively in Russia, Europe, and the USA. His debut recital at Carnegie Hall in November 2018 was performed to a sold-out audience.
Ivan is a winner of the 3rd Gershwin International Music Competition (New York, USA, 2017), a prize-winner of the Chopin International Piano Competition (Hartford, USA, 2018), the New York Piano Festival and Competition (New York, USA, 2017), the Mauro Monopoli Prize International Piano Competition (Barletta, Italy, 2013), the Benditsky Russian Piano Competition (Russia, 2014), the Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Scholarship Award (International Keyboard Institute and Festival, New York, 2015), and the Third International Neuhaus Piano Competition (Russia, 2015).
Ivan Gusev was born in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. He graduated from Moscow State Conservatory with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, both with highest honors (classes of Professors Michail Voskresensky and Eliso Virsaladze). Ivan completed his Master’s program at Mannes Schools of Music at the New School in New York with Prof. Jerome Rose.
