In 2014, I was living in a small apartment in the San Francisco Bay Area, a few miles south of Stanford University. I wanted to improve my quality of life by purchasing a home. Real estate in the area was extremely expensive and prices were accelerating upwards, so I decided it was time to consider a move to a more affordable locale.

Basically, everybody out there wants you to fail. People who say they want you to succeed also want you to fail, they just don’t know it yet.

Rhode Island has only a few residential buildings recognized for their ultra-low energy profile. Two of them are right here in Wakefield-Peace Dale.

In the past, politics took a back seat to other interests of mine. The appalling 2016 presidential campaign and Donald Trump’s surprise victory convinced me that politics as usual is no longer a viable position for a concerned citizen.

A few years ago, I was playing around with iTunes Radio, Apple’s first music streaming service. (Apple has since incorporated iTunes Radio into Apple Music).
